Sam Robles

Sam Robles (D)

Sam Robles is a seasoned Democratic strategist with more than a decade of experience in Texas politics, legislative advocacy, and nonprofit communications. Her work spans strategic messaging, coalition-building, and both traditional and digital media, helping campaigns and civic organizations craft clear narratives and mobilize supporters.

Robles has led communications and advocacy efforts at Workers Defense Project and Progress Texas, and she’s been a frequent on-air commentator for outlets such as FOX 7 Austin. She has also worked with Sen. Roland Gutierrez’spolitical efforts and is based in Austin, Texas.

Rob Johnson

Rob Johnson (R)

Rob Johnson is a seasoned Republican strategist with two decades of experience in politics at the state and federal levels, as well as public relations, traditional media, digital media, and campaigns. Johnson Strategies represents a diverse portfolio of clients including major corporations, politicians and associations. The Houston Chronicle wrote, “Finding the right campaign message is key – and no one knows it better than Rob Johnson.”

Rob has been named a top Texas influencer in Campaigns & Elections magazine, and frequently provides on-air analysis to major news outlets such as CNN, FOX News and MSNBC. He served as the General Consultant and Media Consultant in the run-off for Dade Phelan. Rob graduated from Southern Methodist University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in political science and public relations. Rob lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife, Allison, and their two sons.
